Summer Scaries: The Improvised Teen Horror Musical will have you screaming for your life - and singing along! Inspired by everyone's favorite nostalgic teen horror book series, the cast will improvise a fully original musical based on an audience suggestion of one unusual object that causes havoc around their weird little town. A haunted eyelash curler that melts faces? A possessed film projector that shows you your own demise? A quilt whose seams will tie you in knots? Whatever the culprit, you'll be stunned at the twists and turns. Reader Beware!

Thea L. Anderson (she/they) is a Chicago-based writer, performer, musician, and producer. She is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory and Music Conservatory programs as well as an alumni of the Annoyance Training Center’s improv, writing, and music programs.You can see her onstage as a member of Summer Scaries: The Improvised Teen Horror Musical (founding producer, The Annoyance); Let's Play a Game (producer, The Annoyance); Lake Effect (Gold Comedy); PortalProv (Otherworld Theatre); The Real Spacewives of Alderaan (Clash on Clark); and Group Therapy (Second City).She plays with indie teams Party Cigarette, Our Lake is an Ocean, and Backpack Full of Rats.Previous credits include This Isn't Working (founding producer, The Annoyance); Clockblockers (Annoyance); Hooked Up: The Improvised Musical About YOUR Love Life (founding producer, various venues); Pillow Fight (Second City); Trigger Happy Lab Cast (The Annoyance); The Age of Innocence [Until Proven Guilty] (Second City); The Lookout (Comedy Community Center); PJPRTY (Malarkey Comedy); and T’INCELS (Clash on Clark).Her life goals include becoming a pop star in middle age, adopting seventeen senior rescue dogs, becoming a real-live Gadget Hackwrench, and being sponsored by Celsius energy drinks. Theo Daly
Theo Daly’s (she/they) improv antics can be found all around Chicago, and previously Nashville, until they had to flee the southern city most expeditiously. (Unrelated to monsters under the bed.) She is currently decoding a message from a stranger in a dark alley. Until then, you can find her wherever you store your most secret documents… or comedy clubs throughout the city.
