Michael Gomez was born and raised in Miami, Florida, moved to Chicago to study law, and somehow ended up in comedy. He has studied at the Annoyance, the Second City Conservatory, and iO. Gomez has written and performed two solo shows: “Hi, Mijo, It’s Your Mom,” based on his overprotective Cuban mother’s voicemails, and “Pardon Me,” based on his experiences as a criminal defense attorney. He won the solo sketch competition at the 2015 SnubFest Comedy Festival and was a 2016 NBCUniversal Bob Curry Fellow at The Second City. He recently appeared in Blue Skies Process at the Goodman Theatre. Gomez is represented by Actors Talent Group.
