Matthew Manning is a writer, storyteller, and improviser from Chicago, Illinois.
Matt originally started his improv career as a member of Baltimore Improv Group and furthered his training at The Magnet Theater in New York City. He has performed at Pittsburgh Comedy Festival, Chicago Improv Festival, and Philadelphia Improv Festival, among others. He is also a writer whose works have appeared on AskMen, Huffington Post, Thought Catalog, and Slate. As a storyteller, he has been featured as part of Stoop Storytelling Series of Baltimore and Story District in Washington, DC. When he is not improvising, he is a psychiatric nurse and co-producer of the podcast “Does This Work?”
