Liz Bell

Liz Bell hails from the mean streets of Barrington, Illinois and has been writing, acting, improvising, and directing in Chicago since 2004. She has trained with the Annoyance, Second City, and iO and has been writing and performing with the Annoyance since 2011. Liz also holds an B.A. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University and a J.D. from the University of Illinois, though all she really learned was how to act sort of normal in fancy situations, not wear wrinkled clothes all the time, and that she wanted to pursue a career in comedy. Recent Annoyance credits include Oprah: A Comedy! Live Your Best Laugh!, Fuck You, I Love You, Bye: The Rahm Emanuel Story, and A Kitty Massacre: The Making of Milo and Otis, which Liz co-wrote and starred in. She has also written and performed in many other shows at many other theaters and recently started dabbling in film and video, co-founding Beat It Nerd Productions. And no, it’s not porn. Well, not hard core porn at least. Pervs.

Liz is very excited to be teaching at the Annoyance!
