Jessye Grace Mueller is an actor, improvisor, writer, director and teaching artist in Chicago. Her previous Annoyance credits include: Angela of Death and Call Me Never for the Annoyance Triple feature. Her recent Chicago acting credits include: Just Being Honest (currently running at Donny’s Skybox, Second City Training Center), The Mary Scruggs Works By Women Festival (Donny’s Skybox, Second City Training Center), SketchCast (de Matt Studio Theater, Second City Training Center), The Dewey Decimals present Improvised Young Adult Fiction (de Matt Studio Theater, Second City Training Center), The Masterpiece Players Present: Improvised Masterpiece Theatre (Donny’s Skybox, Second City Training Center), Silent Night (MCL), and Headshot: A Geek Tragedy for MCL Chicago’s Premier Premieres Festival. Jessye also performs with the Ladies of Improvised Jane Austen at the Bughouse Theater and other venues in Chicago, including iO, Stage 773, and Chemically Imbalanced Theatre. Jessye caught the improv and sketch comedy bug at the age of ten, performing with the Second City Youth and Teen Ensembles and the Piven Theatre’s Young Peoples Company. She is a graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington with a BA in Theatre and Drama. A graduate of Second City Training Center’s Conservatory and Second City Training Center’s Music Conservatory, Jessye has also trained at the Tisch School of the Arts Experimental Theatre Wing at NYU. As an instructor at Improv Playhouse in Libertyville and Highland Park, Jessye teaches improv in their adult and youth programs, and performs regularly with their touring company.
