Jessica Mitolo

Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, Jessica received her degree in Acting and Directing from Bowling Green State University. Since moving to Chicago, she has studied, performed and directed at various schools and venues throughout the city. As a faculty member at The Second City Training Center, Jessica currently teaches Improvisation, Improv for Anxiety, and Sketch Writing to students of all ages. Independent of Second City, Jessica coordinates and leads corporate improv and idea generating workshops and has enjoyed working with companies such as NetSuites, LinkedIn, and Willis Towers Watson. In addition to teaching, Jessica is a performer and director. Her directing credits include My American Cousin at Silk Road Rising, Terrible Theatre Company’s production of TWO, Meat Cute, El is for Love, Here Goes, and Nostalgia Sucks: But It Used To Be Awesome! Jessica is a proud to have directed one of The Second City’s National Touring Companies and to have worked as Assistant to the Director on Second City’s Mainstage production, South Side of Heaven.
