Colette S. Gregory

Colette S. Gregory is a Chicago based comedian, actress, and writer. She uses comedy to explore the intersection of multiple identities, including race, gender, social class, and mental health status. She was last seen as the host of SHADE: An Actualy Diverse Comedy Show at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre Company and as an understudy for Second City’s 105th Revue: 105TH REVUE: THE WINNER…OF OUR DISCONTENT. Originally from Gary, Indiana, Colette has a M.A./M.Ed. from Columbia University – New York and B.A. and B.Mus from Northwestern University. She is a graduate of the Second City Chicago’s Conservatory and Music Conservatory programs, recipient of the 2017 Jason R. Chin Memorial Scholarship at iO Chicago, and ensemble member at ComedySportz Chicago.
