Caroline Kingsley Rau

Caroline Kingsley Rau is an actor, writer and performance artist from Chicago, Ill.
She has worked with many Chicago theaters including Lookingglass Theater, Northlight Theater, Victory Gardens, and Collaboraction and is a proud company member of the Dog and Pony Theater Company. She created the original character Winnifred Coombe and the punk-pagan ritual “La Lune De Femme” which premiered in Chicago and has toured to New Orleans Fringe Festival and Sh’Bang Arts Festival in Seattle. She frequently performs with “Salonathon,” and with the “Top Queer Performance Artists in Chicago” in the REVIVAL residency at the Jay Priztker Pavillion in Millenium Park. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her long-term-live-in-lover and writing partner (they are the same person).
