Andrew McCammon grew up in North Carolina and earned a BA in Literature and Creative Writing from UNC Asheville in 2009. He moved to Chicago in 2011 to pursue his love of comedy. In his eight years of living in Chicago, Andrew has gone from taking classes to teaching them at the Second City Training Center. He has worked with Second City Theatricals and Norwegian Cruise Lines aboard the Norwegian Gem and was an understudy for the Second City’s e.t.c.’s 42nd revue, Gaslight District, directed by Anneliese Toft. Andrew is the writer, creator and director of award winning sketch troupe, DGAF Comedy and has written and directed nine original revues for the company. DGAF Comedy won the 2017 National Sketch Championship in Los Angeles at the ACME Hollywood Theater. Andrew has also been featured in the SNL and NBC solo showcases at the iO Theater, Chicago.
