Allison Black

Allison Black​ is an actor, improviser, comedian, voice over artist, writer, singer and occasional tap dancer originally hailing from South Florida. Allison moved to Chicago by way of Nashville, TN in 2006. Since moving to the Second City, she has performed in many productions at the Annoyance Theatre and ComedySportz, and at Second City’s ETC and Donny’s Skybox Theatre, The Lincoln Lodge, The National Pastime Theater, The Athenaeum and The Comedy Shrine. One project of which she is extremely proud is Salem: The Musical, which she co-wrote with the cast. Salem has had a recurring run at the Annoyance Theatre as well as was seen at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival and the D.C. Fringe Festival (Washington, DC). Allison shares her days with a delightfully silly pup, a cat who is in love with the dog, two rescued parakeets and one rescued husband. She is quite thrilled to be part of the Improvised Jane Austen team.
