About the Show
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to witness a never-before-seen, classic Hollywood film manifest itself from the ether in real time, without all the red tape of studio involvement, A-list stars, a budget, or even a script? Probably you have not. Regardless, “Improvised Turner Classic Movies” combines all the magic of the silver screen experience with the visceral thrills of a live theatrical performance, and it premieres June 20th at the Annoyance Theatre!
Here’s how it works: Our resident “Robert Osborne” sources a suggestion from you the audience for the title of a film that has never existed but soon will. Then our capable ensemble brings the fake film to life before your very eyes. How ’bout that, huh? We sincerely hope you join us as we recklessly rewrite film history this summer at the Annoyance. Here’s lookin’ at you, punk!
