About the Show
Purity Ball: The Musical takes a humorous look at the eerily incestuous world of evangelical purity balls – ceremonies in which young girls symbolically give their virginity to their fathers for safekeeping until marriage. Our story follows Isabel, a devout Christian teen who is tempted to have sex right before the Colorado Springs’ Purity Ball. As the Ball approaches Isabel must decide between her faith, her virginity and her self worth.
