About the Show

Cameron Mahai is a chameleon. Not in a charismatic way, he’s just anxious, has crazy eyes, and can shoot his tongue out of his face at 60 miles per hour. He likes that he can change colors, but he doesn’t really know who he is beneath his lizard skin. With the help of a friendly fly (played by the endlessly impressive Cara Larson), Cameron attempts to find his identity through a menagerie of characters, costumes, and monologues.

Whimsical and full of heart, Chameleon is a playful exploration of what it means to be yourself in a performative age. Directed by local genius and superstar Lydia House.
