Annoyance

AP2: Taking Care of Yourself: Thursday

The Annoyance philosophy focuses on decisive initiations and a strong point of view. AP2 looks at the first seconds of scenes and explores how they affect the rest of the scene. In AP2, you will cover:

  • Personal responsibility in a scene − taking care of yourself and your choices
  • Trusting instincts
  • Finding “Your Deal” at the top of the scene
  • Beginning character development
  • Object work
  • Environment
  • The responsibility of operating without censorship.
  • Individual feedback

Students must have completed Annoyance AP1, or have completed programs at Second City, iO, or UCB. IF YOU HAVE NOT TAKEN AP1, please let us know in the comments section (of the registration form) which school you have completed so that we may contact them.

Need a payment plan?  Choose Payment Plan when signing up!   The second payment (1/2 the cost of the class) will be auto-debited from the card you use on September 10th.  It’s that simple!
